Recently, I started experimenting with drawn animations. I simply take a large piece of paper and I draw on it whatever comes to my mind. Above me, there's a camera making a timelapse. This time, I didn't use any references and I wasn't using any inspirations. The goal was to have creative fun. I tried to make every line different, to find new original ideas.

As you can see, the result is not very aesthetic. First I was playing with the shapes and lines, and then even with the paper itself. I cut it and sprayed it with a random sanitiser I found on the desk. The process took me more than 2 hours and at the end I realised a very important lesson.

Creativity is like a wild beast, it needs to be tamed by vision or limitations to create something great. Otherwise the results might be completely useless or irrelevant. Not each element has to be independent and different then others, because that'll make your creation chaotic. By evolving your idea and experimenting with a path you chose, you'll find your creative masterpiece.
